What is Uzima In Our Hands?
Uzima In Our Hands is an Isle Of Wight based Christian Charity. We support vulnerable children in rural Western Kenya mainly with scholarships to attend school.
What are the sponsorship costs?

£15/month sends a vulnerable child to Primary school and gives the family support to work their way out of poverty.

As little as £5 per month can help pay the fees for a Primary School pupil.

An amount of your choice could support families to get on their feet by joining a savings group.

Every child supported by Uzima in Our Hands is vetted carefully by our staff based in Kenya. Every child has good reason to be sponsored; many of them have lost one or both parents, often due to HIV/AIDS. They may also have HIV/AIDS themselves, Special Needs, health needs or live in abject poverty. Scholarships mean these children have hope for a better future and the support helps to alleviate the extreme burden put on the families left to care for orphans and children with Special needs.
